TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Holiday Contract
The following terms and
conditions (the ‘booking conditions’) will apply to your booking. The person
who signs the booking form will be accepting the booking conditions for and on
behalf of the holiday party, and will be over the age of 21 years. A contract
between you and the owners will come into existence either (i) when we accept
your booking form and deposit payment by issuing written confirmation of your
booking, or (ii) if you have made your booking via telephone and we tell you
that your booking is confirmed. The appropriate Deposit must accompany this
application, the deposit acts as a booking fee which will be non-refundable if a
booking is cancelled.
The contract binds you and all
members of your holiday party. It is your responsibility to ensure that all
members of your party accept the terms and conditions of the contract, as set
out in these terms and conditions of booking. Failure to disclose all relevant
information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract
and loss of the booking.
Bookings
Provisional bookings will be held
for a period of 5 days.
A non-refundable deposit of £50
per week is required with the booking form.
The balance of your holiday is
required 56 days before the commencement of your holiday.
The booking form should be
completed fully, and all relevant questions answered, failure to do so may
result in your booking not being accepted, an administration charge of £20, or
a delay in your booking.
No single sex parties are
authorised to hire the accommodation.
Cancellation of Booking
Should you wish to cancel your
booking you should notify us by telephone immediately, and then also in writing.
The written notification should be sent via recorded delivery, as your
cancellation will not take effect until we receive the written confirmation. If
we do not receive written confirmation of your cancellation, before your holiday
has commenced no refund will be given.
In the event of a booking being
cancelled you will incur the following cancellation charges:

Your Responsibility
Accommodation is available from
4.00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of
departure. Accommodation is not available after 10.00pm on the due date of
arrival, however, it can be claimed the following day between the hours of
10.00am and 4.00pm, or as indicated by the Haven representative.
Please treat the property,
facilities, and accommodation at your Haven Park with respect and care, so that
other guests may continue to enjoy them. In the event that you notice any damage
to any of the facilities within your accommodation, you should report it
immediately.
Accommodation with be inspected
at the end of the holiday and you may be charged for any loss or damage found.
We reserve the right to enter any accommodation under any circumstances and
emergencies.
Only those persons listed on the
booking form can occupy your accommodation and use the facilities on the Park.
If this legal requirement is not met, your booking will be terminated and you
will be asked to leave the Holiday Park, with no refund made. The Management
reserve the right to cancel and exclude from the premises any unauthorised
persons, and those indicated on the booking form. Upon termination of the
Holiday, all persons involved (or as indicated by the Management) will be deemed
as trespassers.
For the convenience of other
guests, we reserve the right to terminate the holiday without compensation,
where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking form or
their guests might impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of other guests.
It is possible that in some
circumstances accommodation, entertainment, or a facility may be temporarily
withdrawn, due to maintenance, renovation, adverse weather conditions, changes
in governmental legislation, or any other factor outside our control. We reserve
the right to make such alterations in the above circumstances without prior
notice, and are unable to accept liability for the loss of an advertised
facility, or to pay compensation for any inconvenience caused.
No all male or all female parties
will be permitted to hire the accommodation.
No Pets or animals are permitted
to occupy the accommodation.
Smoking is not permitted in any
of the accommodation.
These terms and conditions are in
addition to any conditions imposed by the Devon Cliffs Holiday Park as detailed
in the current Haven brochure, any breach may result in the termination of your
holiday and further legal action
